Ville Kallio‘s drawings are extremely strange. They are very gestural and the artist even refers to them as “doodles,” but they are oddly fascinating. I like the artist’s weird use of colour and distinctive style. Some of the images are animated GIFs, and the others appear to be digital drawings made using Paint or a similar program.
“My work is a collection of lines and bright colours haphazardly thrown together. To me it is mostly a visual thing and I don’t really have any philosophy or idea behind it. Humour is important to me,” Kallio said in an interview.
